Univents (Ridge Vents) are continuous ridge ventilators, fabricated in 9" throat 10' sections of 26 gauge Shell White (J) material for use as single units or multiple 10' units for location at the building ridge on 1/2:12 through 4:12 slope. (not available on Single Slope buildings ).
All vents include bird screen, fillers and sealant, and when specified, include spring assisted damper.
All vents with damper have single vent operator with 10' chain.
Univents include factory-installed ends, requiring no modification to install in a continuous run or as a single unit with installation performed from atop the roof.
Optional Damper Operator Kits...are available for cable operation. The kit consists of an operating lever, 40' of cable, pulleys and hardware. Each operator kit can operate up to ten (10) 9" throat vents.
Operator Extension Kits...are also available, which provide an additional 50' of cable and hardware to extend the point at which the vents can be operated.
