Gym Guard |
Gym Guard is a .0015" thick White Metallized Polypropylene Film adhered to a Fiberglass Polyester Blend fabric weighing 75 lbs. per 3000 sq. ft. It has excellent strength and puncture resistance as well as light reflectivity, making it an excellent fabric for exposed interior surfaces in gymnasiums and auditoriums. Water Vapor transmission rate (ASTM-E-96) of .02 Perms. Light Reflectivity (ASTM C-523, illuminant D-6500 = 85%. Cold Weather Workability = 0 deg. F. Bursting strength of 250 psi. |

Tabs |
| Tab options are (1) 6" Tab or 2 - 3" Tabs. 1 - 6" Tab will be provided on one side of the insulation rolls with no tab on the other side of the roll. Usually 1 - 6" Tab is used when the erector is going to use spray adhesive to seal the insulation roll side joints. 2 - 3" Tabs will be provided on both sides of the insulation rolls. 2 - 3" Tabs are usually used when the insulation roll side joints are going to be folded and stapled. Unless specifically called out in a specification, this is strictly a preference of the erector. |
